Social Conscience
We create products that are intended to last for years to come. Every product we make is created from the hard work of many hands and we aim for each one to be responsibly made.
We focus our efforts on the areas we believe will have the biggest impact. Our social conscience framework covers three key areas:
Cherish Materials & Make | Minimise Waste | Enrich & Educate
Our annual Social Conscience Report outlines progress against our commitments, the challenges we face and our next steps.

Cherish Materials & Make
We believe in the importance of timeless design, creating long-lasting collections from quality materials. When developing fabrics we consider origin, quality, look and feel and aim to use organic, recycled and responsibly-sourced fibres.
87% of our 2023 clothing collections were made from solely natural fibres or cellulosic fibres from certified sources.
Our Suppliers
We drive transparency across our supply chain to build trust within our community.
We have long-standing relationships with our makers. We have been working with suppliers that produce the majority of our collections for an average of nine years.
Our supplier audits review areas of social compliance including safe, fair working conditions.
This map shows the geographical positioning of our Tier 1 suppliers, where our products are made and shipped from. It also shows the percentage breakdown of our production spend in each region in 2023, with over 50% supporting manufacturing in Europe.
Minimise Waste
We are working to reduce our impact on the environment by challenging unnecessary waste. Our Circle programme gives garments a new lease of life through reuse and repair. We aim to use locally sourced and deadstock materials.
Last year, we diverted over 3,800 garments from potentially going to landfill.
Enrich & Educate
We hope to educate and inspire our community to make informed choices and engage in thoughtful practices. We make long-term commitments to charities, mentor emerging makers and run workshops for mastering skills such as repair techniques.
In 2023, we donated over £9,000 to our charity partners, supporting the development of circular practices and workforce diversity within the UK and global fashion industries.
Last year over 2,300 people attended workshops that taught craft and repair techniques.
